                    Importance of Vitamins for a Safe and Healthy Life

Food is the fuel of the human body that provide it energy foe proper functioning and for healthy life. Food is not just a filler to fulfill the appetite but it is the mixture of the important elements that our body demands for its working and survival. One of the most important nutrients that play a vital role in the body functioning and repairing of the damage tissues is the Vitamin. Vitamins are the organic chemical compounds that our body required in small amount. If they are not synthesized in the sufficient quantity in the organism’s body, they must be obtained from the diet.
 Vitamins are the essential energy elements of the body and are important for maintaining the balance health status. Individual with a disease have more body requirements for the intake off vitamins and minerals than that of a healthy person but we can never ignore their importance for a healthy person too. So it is a fact that they are equally important for a healthy as well as for a sick person. Vitamins are of various types and so there uses and effectiveness is also different with respect to its type.
Searching a vitamin is not such a big deal we can have them in food, vegetables, fruits and dairy products, as well as we can take them through dietary supplements and medicinal formations such as; pills and tablets. Foods known as vitamins enrich foods that are prepared by vitamins rich way are also the effective source of vitamin derivative. There are about 13 that are essential for the human body. They are grouped in two categories according to their solubility. One group is of the water soluble vitamins, as it name indicate they are soluble in water and cannot be stored in efficiently in the body. We need to consume water soluble vitamins in the daily diet to be available. The other group is called the fat soluble vitamins and the body can store and manufacture these vitamins on requirement.
Vitamins carry numerous vital functions rightly said that biochemical functions. As vitamin D is a hormone motivator, vitamin E act as antioxidant, vitamin A act as a mediator of cell signals and regulation of tissue growth, and vitamin B is efficient for cofactor bio-molecules that are commonly known as coenzymes.
Body deficit in vitamins is the house of number of diseases.  The deficiency is responsible for the number of acute and chronic diseases so we should take care about the proper intake of these vitamins and should use vitamins rich food. In case our diet is not able to cover the demand of essential vitamins than we should use the vitamins supplements after he suggestion of the doctor or nutritionist.
