Applications Epoxy Flooring

                                   Applications Epoxy Flooring
To enhance the life of an object and to give it better finishing we apply external coating on the object. As bonus we get aesthetic looks. Now with the advancement of technology and the introduction of new materials and chemicals, we have a suitable coating material for everything from industrial products to floors. Floors also need coating to keep them safe. In order to keep the floors of industries, offices and homes safe from wear and tear, scratches or other damages that can be caused by the mechanical abrasions or house hold chemicals.
Epoxy Flooring is one of the most suitable and low maintenance flooring. Epoxy floors are economical as well as hygienic flooring. Epoxy floors are made by placing the multiple layers of the epoxy on the surface of the floor. The total thickness of all the layers applied should be at least 2mm. If the total thickness of the Epoxy floor is less then 2mm and it consist of less than three layers than it might be called “epoxy floor coating”. An epoxy be floor is called industrial floor if the floor coating consist of three layers, of which two layers must be of 100% solid epoxy. Behind the choice of epoxy floor than other floor covering there are many reasons. The most important, epoxy flooring is economical and durable. Epoxy Flooring gives shiny look and is easy to clean. Epoxy floors are odorless and its thick surface prevents it from damage in industrial units. For residence floors we mostly use epoxy floor coating in which water is used as a bonding agent. Water bond epoxy flooring being water bond is very thin. It is economical and user friendly. Epoxy floors are mostly used in area of industry as they are easy to clean and not allow the absorption of oil and other chemicals that can fall on the floor. Because of the shining surface epoxy floors reduce friction and it becomes easy to move heave objects. Epoxy floors are most suitable for pharmaceutical, food, cosmetic, electronic and chemical industries because of their most demanding sanitary environment. As these industries demands a crackles, dustless and easily cleanable floor. Epoxy floors are durable resistant to electrical shocks and radiations. Thus the application of epoxy flooring reduces the cost and time that we spend on maintenance of floor. Epoxy floors also reduce the cleaning cost and lessen the risk of injuries by providing a non-slip area (it becomes slippery when it is in contact with water). Epoxy floors increase the reflectivity of light and hence brighten the work area. So epoxy floor reduce utility expenses and enhance work efficiency
