                                                      Importance of Chondroitin

Even in the era of machines and computer no one can deny the importance of health for a human being. Nothing can be more important and precious than a health and active body but unfortunately we are losing this wealth with the advancement of technologies. Most of the people of this era are suffering with the number of diseases. Most of the common problem we are suffering today is the weakness and diseases of bones and joints that occur due to the deficiency of many nutrients. One of the most important nutrients for the good health of joints is Chondroitin.
Chains of sugers called Chondroitin are a chondrin derivative and are of tow types one is chondroitin sulfate and the other is dermatan sulfate. It plays an important role in the development of tissue and organs.  Chondroitin sulfate (CS) is a member of sugar-polymers group glycosaminoglycans that is present in cartilage. It plays a structural role and is also a major component of skin.  It improves health of joints and connective tissue.  
It is produced naturally in our body and is found mostly in the connective tissue like cartilage also in the corneas of our eyes. For our healthy joints chondroitin is very important. It is also important for proper maintenance of bone and for elasticity of cartilages.
Chondroitin level keep on decreasing with the age and hence making a person more vulnerable to problems of bones especially joints like arthritis. For improving the cartilage density chondroitin supplements are mostly recommended by the doctors. These supplements also contain many beneficial substances like glucosamine that is very helpful in reducing inflammation in joints, bones and muscles. It is also used as a remedy of pain and progression of osteoarthritis.
These supplements of chondroitin are most commonly used by athletes of all levels as it help them and keep their joints safe from extra wear and tear. It also keeps the ligaments and muscles safe from strenuous exercise of athletes.  We all should take care of our bones and health and should take proper amount of nutrients.
