There are some people in the world that belief to communicate with the spirits. These special people with spiritual powers called mediums. They are the link between this world and the spirit world. All the living people have the mediumistic abilities of some kind. The mediumship is mainly divided in two groups or types as the mental mediumship and physical mediumship. Mental mediumship is further divided into different categories according to their types. The mediums that can see the spirits are called clairvoyance, they usually mean that such person can see and communicate the spirits with their mind’s eyes but some mediums can see the spirits with their physical eyes as well in the form of another person as themselves. Some mediums claim to feel presence of the spirits by the feeling of cold or slight breeze or even smell fragrances that are specifically associated with the spirits are called clairsentience. Were as such medium that can hear the spirits are called clairaudience.
Physical mediumship takes more time and patience to practice and demand a properly controlled environment to be practice. That’s why this method is not common today. It is also further divided into transfiguration, direct voice, and trance and apports types.
